These remaining years of their life become miserable as they cannot move and see people or things around them leading to depression. Technology is doing wonders in all the areas and disability is also taking advantage of it. These aids are used to help people walk and move easily and comfortably. They have steering handles in the front to control the vehicle just like in a car. They come with accessories like basket in the front and pockets in the side to keep phone or cash handy. Walking frames and walking sticks These are basic mobility aids especially designed for people who cant put a lot of pressure on their lower body or legs. Walking frame and sticks share the body weight of a person as in case of arthritis where a person can walk with little support. They provide safe support to recover from temporary ailments like while recovering from a foot injury or fracture. Here, walking sticks are helpful as the person cannot put pressure on the affected part and need to balance his body weight while walking. These aids provide the necessary support and balance while walking indoors or outdoors.
