Digital Agency Of Year Orange Bus, Breaking New Waves

Orange Bus, the leading digital agency based in Newcastle

, is seeing whole new waves of growth. New contracts such as Sage, a leading supplier of business software and services to millions of customers worldwide including Barclays Bank, The NHS, Tommee Tippee & Parentline to name just a few.

More new talented people have also joined the Orange Bus line up in 2010, with well over fifteen members doing the inner (and outer) workings.

A new website for OrangeBus.co.uk is also a wave that is about to hit the shores of the world wide web. As well as a new virtual home, new premises are also on the horizon. The infamous windmill in Newcastle city centre which housed the team was just getting a bit too small with the rapid growth in the two years they've been wind milled.

The Digital Agency of Year title was announced in The Drum's prestigious New Years Honours List, this is what The Drum had to say:

"Based in an eighteenth century windmill on the outskirts of Newcastle, the agency which promises to deliver "clever web stuff" did not disappoint in 2009, producing consistently excellent work for a wide range of clients as the company doubled in size. It created a website for French movie channel Cinemoi in just six weeks; invited racing fans to see live behind the scenes action from a British Touring Car race; and devised a digital strategy for Newcastle Science City after a rigorous tender process. The agency outlined its ambition in November when it appointed Chris Rhodes, vice president EMEA at Radialpoint and director of Aspen Adventures, as non-executive director as part of plans to reach 1m turnover this year."
