We are not cry infants here, but there are numerous problems that an ESL instructor faces day in and outing

Frequently, they're registered at community colleges or adult school centers.

This is not to say that some don't want to understand the English language. Many do desire to understand the language and do very well. They note that learning English is their road to success, their solution to a good life, better gifts that the American culture must offer.

Often, there's a national problem of who have to do the course work, and research. In some cultures, the women do most of the paper work. You will want to, they do all the home work. There's an understanding that those skills are transferable. The men generally want to talk and they appear to do that best.

They are great when it comes to starting a discussion. Women seem to learn quicker the written and reading compared to their partner. If their partner is missing, the women appear to do perfectly. They seem to be spirited by the absent of the spouse. The men, as stated do well in classroom talk, and the chit-chat, but that gets them not too far.

That creates some doubt and despair on their part. Their general experience is which they can perform no wrong with just talking. The men believe that by just holding a discussion all is well. Of course, we realize that is not even close to the fact. The story assumes on this look, the women move and the men are left behind.

That separation disturbs the spousal device and soon the man will not allow his wife to attend the course. The college sees a major decrease in enrollment and a stress goes out. The husband often cites that there are too many other men looking and touching his wife.

When that is which can be untrue, he still will not allow his wife to attend. She finds almost no concerning the English language and stays home although her husband depends on her to study, hold talks, pay bills, and understand the English language.

Cheating is still an important concern in many classes, and it's difficult to control. Some of the students have stated that it's not cheating. They are only helping their fellow classmate.

When they say the answers out loud that is the last straw for some teachers. Often, it is hard to silence them. Many school teachers depend on the point process and give extra credit if you are punctually to class, and passing in your projects punctually and being quiet in class.

Then, you've those students who do what the teacher says and maintain a proper traditional class behavior.


Tardiness is well-liked by some students. Many of them remain outside the classroom or making smoking or talking with their friends long following the bell has rung, or the start of class. They seem to wish to make a grand entrance. It seems as though, there's some sort of energy play going on with the teacher. These students seem to desire to mock the process that is providing them with a free money ride.

When teaching some of the high school, or middle school students you have to tolerate them being late, but additionally eating and drinking in class. That is quite disturbing. It's fine to bring and drink water, nevertheless they kill the messenger and bring in food and sodas.

There have been times, when I've personally asked a female teacher to talk to female students about health. It's not recommended to approach a female student right. Sometimes, I would write health dilemmas on the board. Sometimes, I'd do a session on health and taking baths and cleaning teeth. It works sometimes. Some students get the information and discuss it with others.
