Director Of Information Systems Activities
Plans, organizes, controls, integrates and evaluates the process of the information Systems workforce
. With subordinate staff, develops, implements and monitors foresightful plans, goals and objectives focused along achieving the workforce's and department's task and department priorities. Develops and monitors performance against the twelve-monthly department budget. Manages and directs the ontogenesis, execution and valuation of plans, policies, systems and procedures to attain yearly office goals and job standards.
Plans and evaluates the operation of assigned workforce. Establishes execution requirements and personal development targets. Typically monitors performance and provides training for functioning improvement and progress. Provides remuneration and extra rewards to acknowledge execution. Takes disciplinal process, up to and including termination, to handle performance deficiencies, in accordance with the office's staff policies.
Provides leadership and works with staff to develop and hold vastly competent, client service-oriented department through selection, salary, education and day-to-day direction practices which indorse the organization's mission and values.
Attends department meetings, coordinates with the workforce director and others and drafts or directs the draftsmanship of the agendas. Coordinates and supervises duplication and dispersion of agenda packets and supporting materials. Directs the documentation, upkeep and dissemination of all office meeting actions including transactions, resolutions and agreements. Plans and prepares agendas and other documents for the staff's long-range planning, goal setting and budget workshops. Prepares staff reports to enclose in agenda packets.
Manages and participates in implementing and maintaining organization data systems functions, including its computer hardware, software and network infrastructure, phone system and voice mail system. Oversees advancement and sustentation of the staff's systems. Anticipates and plans for technology change and recommends the modification and upgrade of company hardware and software. Plans and directs new Information Technology projects and upgrades and coordinates Information Technology projects with other departments. Gathers ideas from other companies concerning trends and innovative technologies. Conducts occasional inventories of software and hardware, prepares requests for proposals on Information Technology projects, coordinates system accompaniment with extraneous system engineers as needed.
