Although it is proven to help our lives become easier, it is still not advised to let our children spend their entire time in front of computers and other high technology gadgets.

As a mother myself, I strongly disapproved at parents who let their kids play computer games and consider it as their hobby. Letting our child exposed to the vast world of Internet rather than letting them discover the real world can make a big difference.

Yes, I am a self-confessed Internet addict but I make use of it in a positive way. For instance, when I want my children to behave I would simply hand them down their favourite craft and let them do their thing. Yes, they are very much inclined in doing different children's craft. They never failed to awe me when they show me their finished work of art. And with that, my only participation is to look for discounted craft materials for them over the Internet. This kind of whim from them is way lot cheaper than what other children ask from their parents. They don't have to throw tantrums at me when they want additional materials for their handicrafts because it is very easy and affordable for me to buy discounted craft for them.

So for parents like me out there, I guess you will also learn to appreciate making art works yourself rather than buying stuff in nearby store. There are wide varieties of craft to choose from and all you have to do is to find one which is a perfect fit for your abilities and skills.
