Shareholders of pharmaceutical companies have had their pockets lined for years by

acne sufferers around the globe, desperate for a solution to their problem. Ever since commercial acne treatments were first introduced to the public, sufferers of acne have been brainwashed into buying one miracle cure after another.

Unfortunately, many of these over-the-counter treatments fail to deliver on their promises and the poor acne sufferer is forced, by desperation, to try yet another over-hyped treatment. Much to the delight of the pharmaceutical companies, I should imagine.

However, the good times don't stop there for the pharmaceutical companies!

Once you find a treatment that actually clears your acne, or at least keep it at bay, you are then faced with the ongoing cost of maintaining the treatment which can, as it happens, be a long time!

In short, acne sufferers are an easy target for the wealthy pharmaceuticals who have no intention of helping you cure the underlying cause of your acne...they want you to continue buying their products and who can blame them, it's easy money!

I have to apologize if I sound a little cynical, but when you think about it for a minute I suspect you may also start to feel a little conned by the manufacturers of these so-called cures.

So...What Can We Do About It?

We can take steps to permanently cure ourselves of acne, thats what! No more repeat visits to the pharmacy to stock up on treatments that if not used continuously will result in the reappearance of acne and no more handing cash over to companies that don't really have your best interests at heart.

Natural remedies for acne are common and have become increasingly popular as more and more people have started to move away from the chemically based treatments offered by their local pharmacy. These natural remedies are certainly a step in the right direction and are as good as, if not better than, their chemical cousins but, they still only treat the symptoms of acne and not the condition.

Acne, like so many other ailments, is a symptom of an underlying problem. Get rid of the underlying problem and acne will naturally disappear!

Unfortunately, pinpointing the underlying health problem within the body isn't always easy and this is why it is advisable to look into a program that guides you through the whole process. Be warned though, a natural cure for acne isn't an overnight fix, it may also mean drastic lifestyle changes.

However, the end result will be acne free skin, renewed self-confidence and much improved health, not to mention no more money wasted down at your local pharmacy!
