Once a Clean Break Order is made, courts refuse to hear any claims from the parties involved. Clean Break Orders only tend to work if there are no children under the age of eighteen, and if property can be effectively divided for the benefit of both parties.

Getting divorced is a big decision, and one which no one enters into lightly. If you and your spouse can reach reasonably agreements, which will of course require compromise and negotiation, then an uncontested divorce can save time and stress for everyone. A clean break order can also help to ensure that claims are not made years after the divorce settlement, and you can enjoy financial security and peace of mind.
