Do The Special Forces Use Ninja Training?
The Special Forces remain listed among the most talented and highly dangerous military personnel in all of the armed forces. This leads many to look towards the training that these pros employ to become so great. Such an examination is not always easy because much of their training is kept secret from the public. We do know that ninja training is employed in training various Special Force teams like the Rangers, Delta, and Seals. This does raise the question....why?Here are some of the answers to these questions.Ninja training is time tested and evergreen. In other words, the training found in the classic art of ninjitsu remains relevant in the modern era. Much of the reason for this would be due to the fact ninja training revolves around weapons. While empty hand combat has experienced many different evolutions over time, a great deal of weapons training has been perfected and is not reliant on being altered. The fact of the matter is weapons are employed in a very brief and explosive manner. The purpose is to not be impressive looking or theatrical, which would be approaches that undermine the effectiveness of such weapons. In addition to the weapons training, the martial art of the ninja also employed a lot of stand up grappling. In particular, ninja training employed many wrist and elbow locks. The reason for this was that enemies would often grab an opponent's arm in order to get his weapon under control. Those Special Forces personnel that need complete access to their weapon will need to learn how to deal with such grabs,On the flipside, this type of standing joint locking provides a solution to disarming a weapon-wielding opponent. The help that these techniques provide can prove to be life saving. Hence, weapons defense ninja training is highly valued and helpful.Ninja training also seeks to provide a solution to multiple attackers. In a special operations type gambit, the ability to deal with more than one opponent must be enhanced. Ninja training can certainly help develop these skills. The original ninja training performed in feudal Japan was quite demanding on a physical level. Extensive obstacle course work was employed to develop strength, conditioning, endurance, and a variety of other attributes. Often, this type of training would be performed in less than desirable conditions such as extreme cold or extreme heat. The goal here was to create durable and effective ninja warriors. Since this type of training was intended of the elite, it is no surprise that ninja training is employed by the Special Forces to develop highly motivated and tough combatants. Not everyone is capable of getting through this very difficult and involved training. Again, that is why Special Forces trainers employ this methodology to develop their troops. There are many other factors that tie into the reasons why ninja training is preferred by many Special Forces teams. Ultimately, the answer comes down to effectiveness. Ninja training works which is why it is considered so vaunted and appealing to many professional soldiers.
