This is used to draw attention to the wallets, as opposed to drawing attention away from it.

Although most popular biker wallets are still made of leather, staying true to their original form, you can find these accessories in many different shapes and sizes. These wallets can be purchased in any color or shape. You can even find plastic biker wallets that are made for young children. Velcro canvas biker wallets that have become quite popular with young adults and just about anything that you can think of.

In order to call your wallet a biker wallet, is the chain a necessity? Unfortunately, yes, you will need a chain to make a biker wallet. The sole reason for this fact is that is really the only thing that distinguishes it from other wallets. Think about it. How would you differentiate a biker wallet from another without the chain.

Biker wallets can be separated into two main groups, long and short. Have you ever seen someone with a longer wallet that doesn't completely fit in their back pocket. This wallet is always slightly sticking out of the top. This is a long biker wallet. The reason why these wallets were made to be so long was so that bikers, the nomads of their time, could keep all of their important papers with them. A regular sized wallet could hardly important paper work comfortably.

These shops are not store fronts where motorcyclists congregate but merely stores that sell old school biker gear. These are much more common in larger cities and therefore may be a bit harder to find for some.
