Does Ovulex Really Work, Do Your Homework Before Buying Ovulex
Dont buy Ovulex UNTIL you read this!
Dont buy Ovulex UNTIL you read this!
Do your homework is the wisest advice. This fertility enhancer seems to work for many women and not for others. There is a lot of hype about the product. Ill try and help you understand what I have found about the product and about the company. It may work for you, but you should have knowledge before you make any purchase and before you take any chemicals (natural or not) into your body.
Ovulex is a health supplement that is suppose to help women become pregnant by regulating their menstrual cycle. Several testimonials from ladies attribute their pregnancy success to it. The advantages are explained as follows.
Advantages:
1. 100% natural herbs which appear to help regulate menstrual cycles
2. Reportedly 94,000 women have used it successfully (that doesnt mean they got pregnant, just that they used it and were satisfied)
3. Several testimonies of success (see Amazon for positive and negative reviews)
4. The manufacturer explains it works by doing the following:
Stimulates reproductive hormones
Lengthens menstrual cycle
Promotes hormonal balance
All natural ingredients
5. Reported to help women conceive within 3 months of taking the product
Disadvantages:
1. Costly
2. Doesnt work for all women
3. Some customers report having a difficult time with the company when trying to return the product.
4. The company Selmedica has had some complaints against them at the Better Business Bureau. I dont know if this is related to Ovulex or not. They also produce a head lice removal product and several other products, which could be a source of complaints. Wikipedia has more information and presents the sources. Search the company name.
Ingredients
According to the label, the formula is a blend of 500mg of the following herbs: Cimicufuga Racemosa, Vitex, Angus-Castus, Rubus Idaeus, Echinacea Purpurea, Ananas Comosus, Allium Sativum, Zingiver Officianale, Ginkgo Biloba, Panax Ginseng, Llex Paraguariensis, Filipendula Ulmaria, Hypericum Perforatum, Valeriana Officianalis.
But what do those herbs really do?
Consider trying Vitex first for the same advantages without the high cost
Looking at the ingredients of Ovulex, Vitex is one of them. Vitex is a natural herb which has been used for centuries to help women with fertility. Other names include Vitex agnus castus, Agnus castus, chaste tree, monks pepper. Vitex is a very inexpensive herb you can find at your local drug store. If vitex is the reason for womens success, then consider starting with vitex for a few months to see how you feel with it. In promoting fertility, vitex may increase progesterone and increase the release of the hormone luteinizing. Some report an upset stomach when taking vitex. Vitex is not recommended during pregnancy. It shouldnt be used by nursing women. Vitex (and thereby Ovulex) may interfere with other medicines that increase dopamine. Check with your pharmacist to be sure of any interactions if you are on any other medicines.
How fast does it work?
Some women report becoming pregnant within three months of using the product. Every person is different and results will vary.
Best of success to your in your quest to become pregnant.
