When your dog gets sick, the first thing you do is take him to the doctor. Unfortunately, the first thing your doctor does or thinks about doing is prescribing your dog steroids.

So you're probably thinking: "But my doctor told me I should give them to my dog. He must know what he's doing." My response would be, if your doctor told you to jump off a bridge, would you? If your answer is no; read on.
