Dogs come in way more colors, sizes and varieties than cats. On the whole all cats look basically the same. Dogs make great exercise companions because they require regular walks (or runs), which means you have to extract yourself from the couch every evening for at least a few minutes. This is a good thing, whether you enjoy exercise or not. Dogs can learn cool tricks like rolling over, speaking on command and shaking hands. Their entertainment level is at least ten times that of a lousy, boring cat. Dogs are much smarter than cats. You know its true. Dog spelt backwards is god, enough said.
