Don't be discouraged and give up when you have fallen into sin!

The Bible shows how the savior forgives and cleanses

, so that you can yet find happiness in marriage, It is one of Satan's favorite tricks to tempt people and allure them to do wrong, and then taunt them, "You've fallen- no hope for you; you've lost everything, so you might just as well give up and go to the dogs from now on!"

But God's promise is clear. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (! John 1:9). "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Christ has died to redeem your failure, Give Him your sins- lay them on Him by confession, and let Him bear the burden. "The Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all" (Isaiah 53:6). That means that no one will ever be lost because of his past sins, but only because he refuses the pardon and cleansing the savior has already provided for him.

There was once a criminal sentenced to die. The Governor studied his case and decided to grant him a pardon. However, the criminal was so hardened and bitter that he chose to reject the pardon. Needless to say, he was executed. Why he die? Not for his crimes, for they were pardoned by the Governor. He died only because he refused the pardon! There are many who suffer a bitter and ruinous marriage, or a despairing lonely life of punishment, only because they refuse the pardon and cleansing that the savior has for them. They carry their guilt around with them, locked up in their hearts. They are remorseful and hateful, so that even their sexual relations in marriage are affected and they are unhappy in the home. Some men become impotent for this reason, some women become frigid. Their guilt is an actual poison. And Satan is delighted to watch their marriage fall apart, for now he has another good excuse for taunting and ridiculing God.

Come to the savior just as you are, and accept His forgiveness:Out of the depths have I cried unto Thee, O Lord. If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.Let Israel hope in the lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption. And He shall redeem Israel [that's you!] from all his iniquities (Psalm 130).
