Dozens Of Choices: Internet Marketing Tips

Hi, guys! The December winds are starting to nip at the nose, but I hope you're kept warm with the love of your family and the company of friends.

I'd like to share this quote from Michael Masterson which got me seriously thinking. It goes: "Everyday we are given dozens of choicesfrom which foods to eat to which parts of the newspaper to read to which words to say in a given conversation. Many of those choices seem to be insignificant, but when you string them all together they determine the quality of our lives."

This one hell of a quote blew me away because it's true. C'mon, think about it: How do you begin your day? Do you choose to set the rhythm through waking up just in time to go to where you want to go and accomplish the tasks for the day or do you constantly get in a rush and consequently never get things done? Do you choose to eat healthful fare or greasy fastfood? Do you choose to lose your temper or keep it cool? The choice towards healthy living is always in your hands.

From the moment you develop a product for your online business, to deciding on the price to developing your advertising strategy, do you choose to be honest about it? We are constantly bombarded by the thrill of easy money. Do you set a fair price for your product's worth or go overboard with it? Do you observe "truth in advertising" or do you give out false claims? The choice to be honest or not is always in your hands.

Do you choose to pay your people fairly or take advantage of them? Do you choose to deal with problems squarely or wait until they get out of hand? Do you choose to empower your team with your leadership or do you choose to act high and mighty? The choice to be fair or not is always in your hands.

You might think that a little misrepresentation here, a little untruth there won't make that much of a difference. But there's no such thing as a little dishonesty. It's always easier to choose the path of least resistance. In most cases, this most always means being a little untrue, cutting corners, stepping on someone else's toes.

But taking this path is one way towards living a poor quality of life. No one wants to do business with a cheat and sooner or later, word is going to get around even if you started raking in huge profits at first. It's not f***in' worth it.
