Some people may b at the problem highly annoyed at addicted individuals
, but these people need help. They don't need anyone to judge them. Their lives are in turmoil and they don't know how to figure it out on their own. Some people might have the inclination that the substance abuse facts that some report is an overstatement because the television and local media highlights certain things because of the need for higher ratings. However, looking at every thing concerning addiction and the figures put out by the government department of defense, it does seem to be that drug problems are increasing in America. It is not getting any better because society is turning their heads away and not contributing to the treatment programs that can help those who are addicted.
