According to a study published in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, this program has reduced the incidence of alcoholism by 40 percent to teens. It has also reduced the incidence of depression to adolescents. The National Dropout Prevention Center and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Center identified it as a Model Program and named it as the Exemplary 1 Program.
