. Each zone includes at least two sets of LED contact pads. One pad set is configured to mate with contacts of an LED of a first structural type, e.g. from a first product line or manufacturer. Also, itis difficult to include structurally different types of LEDs in a single LED set, particularly if the LEDs will be close to each other, because of the need to design different arrangements of contact pads and/or heat sinks on the board to accept each ofthe different types of LEDs.

Such a board has a number of identical LED writing board landing zones printed on the board. Each LED landing zone includes two sets of LEDcontact pads. One of the sets of contact pads is configured to mate with a first contact configuration for an LED of a first structural type. The other set of contact pads is configured to mate with a second contact configuration for an LED of a secondstructural type different from the first structural type, that is to say, of a type having a second contact configuration that is different from the first contact configuration.
