Early Pregnancy Symptoms

Otherwise known as Morning Sickness, this can occur very early on in pregnancy

, even before you realise that you are pregnant. Many women think they may have a touch of food poisoning or are coming down with a cold!

The first indication and infact the earliest symptom of pregnancy is a missed menstrual period. Often frequent cramps and back pain are early pregnancy symptoms. However, as a part of prevention measure, you should always consult your doctor in case any cramping or light bleeding occurs. You tend to miss your food unintentionally and it is also early pregnancy symptom.

Another early pregnancy symptom is fatigue or unusual tiredness. A womans body is working very hard to keep up with the changes that occur in early pregnancy. She experiences increased hormone production in the form of the tiredness, when her heart is pumping harder and faster due to an escalating blood flow, to bring the necessary nutrients to the growing fetus.

If you have been charting your temperature to determine the day of ovulation, this is a simple way to know if youre pregnant. If your temperature stays up for longer than 15 days after ovulation, you may well be pregnant. When I finally got pregnant, my temperature did a beautiful rise after ovulation and stayed up text book perfect!

One of the earliest symptoms of pregnancy is fatigue. Sudden, unusual exhaustion and feeling fatigued at points in the day when you should have energy are all symptoms that some women experience. The fatigue that comes with pregnancy is a result of the pregnancy hormones and their effect on your body. Fatigue can show up almost as soon as you become pregnant.

A prominent very early pregnancy symptom is breast tenderness. Again, many of you might undergo a very similar change during or few days before the scheduled menstrual cycle. Being an extremely sensitive body part, breasts and especially nipples soar as an immediate reaction to the change the body undergoes during pregnancy.

Periods being overdue is what most of the pregnant women consider as the surest signal of pregnancy. However, there can be other factors that lead to a missed period like stress, travel, etc. Besides, when you notice a missed or delay in periods, you are already one or few weeks pregnant, so look for other typical early pregnancy symptoms to confirm your pregnancy.

You might not have to throw up, but the queasy feeling is still there. The good news, it will not last forever. Some women are very fortunate in the sense that they never have to go through morning sickness. However there are some unlucky women who go through morning sickness right through their pregnancy.

Some women receive a positive pregnancy test earlier than when their period is due, while others may not receive a positive until well after their period is due or until they are further along in their pregnancy. If your period is late, you have a good idea of when you ovulated and your pregnancy test is negative, it is recommended to seek your doctor's or general practitioner's advice.
