Easily Get Traffic To Your Blog Using Blog Comments

Is there much point running a blog if no one is reading your content

? Do you honestly enjoy spending hours researching your articles, writing and re-writing the copy? In the early days of your blog it is hard to get traffic, but if you market your blog in an efficient way, you can quickly generate some traffic by writing comments on blogs in your niche.

A lot of new bloggers post comments on other blogs to promote their own blog. Many of the current list of top bloggers also employed this tactic, but when a blog reaches a certain level the blogger often stops commenting on other blogs because there is less need to. They already have enough traffic coming to their blog, it just has to be sustained. They do however, use other ways to stay connected with their loyal readers, outside of their blog, most commonly, Facebook and Twitter.

For virgin bloggers, new to the blogosphere, it is a steep learning curve. Getting traffic to a blog is not an easy thing to do, especially during the very early days (which can last anything up to twleve months, and sometimes longer than that). This is why it is important to get yourself out there and take the do-it-yourself approach to blog promotion. There is no need to feel shy about it. Everyone is using this method. Just like in the offline world, you make your own luck.

Think, for a moment, about the daily life of a salerperson. If he/she stayed at home every day and never knocked on any doors or made any phone calls, he/she would never make any sales. A blogger can stay at home all day and write some amazingly insightful blog posts, but, unless they get out there and promote them, no one is ever going to read a word they have written. Its a hard life being an unread blogger, but there are ways to increase your chances of being read.

A popular method of getting attention for your blog is to comment on other blogs in your market. This is a great way to build links, but, it is also a very good way to create a reputation for yourself and build a loyal following. If people like your comments, there is a good chance they will click on the link in your signature and visit your blog.

Writing comments on other blogs is a good thing. It can help you build social proof and increase traffic levels for your blog. However, there are certain guidelines to follow. If you follow a few simple blog commenting rules your comments have an excellent chance of being published.
