The teenage years, no doubt, are a very hard time in a person's life

. Finding yourself stuck between childhood and adulthood, you really want nothing more then the freedom to do what you want when you want to do it while at the same time not doing anything or taking any responsibility for anything and basically just scraping by.

Living with your teen can be a difficult time for you if not handled correctly, which is why anger control strategies are vital to learn and if they don't come naturally, you'll have to learn some techniques for the good of the whole family.

To avoid the common situation of getting angry with a teenager, when they are assigned a task, is to remember that it is common for them to exploit every loophole. What is the result of shouting at your teen?

Easy, the teenager shouts back, communication ends with lots of stamping out and door slamming and you're right back to where you started. Until you can convince a teenager to think like you, anger management involving teens can require a lot more thought.

Let's look at an example. How often have you had to ask your teen to clean his or her room before it gets done? I'm sure it's a lot. The inconvenience is, you might tell your teen over and over again to clean the room, but without a strict timetable that you verify they hold fast to, they will definitely put it off until tomorrow over and over again, until you can't even open the entryway for disarray and you in the future blow a circuit.

When making the rules don't leave any room for maneuvering if you want to be successful. Say a day and a time, say Saturday mornings, and they are not permitted to go out or have friends around until it is done, and stick to it. Keep inspecting the room for the first couple of weekends and, once the routine has been established, then do it only now and again to keep them on their toes, if they think that they can bend you to their will they will and you know it.
