Hi my name is Rodney Reid.

About twenty years ago I started training with weights after my mum brought me a dumbbell and barbell set for my birthday.

From then on I was hooked on my quest for the perfect physique.

I started working out in my bedroom and eventually brought an old bench as well

I trained maybe two to three times a week raising my poundage's every few weeks.

I always maintained a strong healthy look but never quiteachieving that ripped look I always saw and admired in the magazines.

I drank protein shakes took multivitamins and amino acids.

The problem was that I thought as long asI trained hard that I could continue to eat all the same foods I always enjoyed.

Chips,sweets,burgers,anytime I wanted which was quite often.

I thought all that talk about "you are what you eat" was for old people.

Till one day I decided to change my diet.

Nothing drastic just cut down on my fat and sugar intake and also cut down on red meats.

To my surprise all the years of training finally paid off the day I changed the way I eat.

I started to see the six pack I probably always had but which was covered by a layer of fat.

The truth is you can do a million crunches a day and still not see you abs unless you change your eating habits.

You see training is all well and good but you cannot really see the full benefits unless you cut down on the fat and sugary foods.

In conclusion you are really what you eat.
