Electrical Training Courses Could Unlock Variety Of Work Opportunities
Tradespersons who have taken electrician training courses could find themselves in
demand throughout a large variety of industries, if reports from the Mirror are anything to go by.
According to the publication, Rich Mence is currently working as an electrician for the West End production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, having to fix the flying car - and most expensive theatre prop in history - if it breaks down.
In addition, he is in charge of the lighting desk and equipment.
He told the publication that he loves working in such a sociable job.
"Not only do I have to meet and get on with the resident back-stage crews from whichever theatre we're playing in but I'm also spending my nights at a B&B, digs or in a guesthouse complete with landlady," he said.
The newspaper added that theatrical electricians could earn 25,000 a year, which would probably increase with experience.
