Electronic Cigarette Celebrities Smoke Doesn't Get In Their Eyes

Electronic cigarettes and Celebrities! It's no real secret that there are now plenty of celebrities from the worlds of Hollywood, music, television and even the catwalk who are discovering alternative smoking in the form of electronic cigarettes. Over the past few months there have been more than a few high profile examples.

Let's see if we can compile a sort of Top list of celebrities (or other famous people) that have either officially come out of the e cig closet or have perhaps been snapped and "papped" with an electric cigarette or are rumoured to have joined the growing list of "vapers"

Johnny Depp First place simply has to go to Johnny for his vaping on a train scene in the movie "The Tourist" alongside Angelina Jolie.

Katherine Heigl Katherine has probably only been beaten away from top spot by the high profile nature of Depp and the fact that it was the first e cigarette scene in a major movie, but the star of "The Ugly Truth" has been very vocal and transparent about her involvement with electronic smoking. She shared a vaping moment with David Letterman on The Late Show. I would like to put Letterman on the list, but it probably doesn't count!

Leonardo DiCaprio Only his nearest and dearest will know if Shutter Island and Titanic star DiCaprio uses e cigs on a regular basis, but he was famously snapped using one while on a bicycle ride.

Kate Moss Although supermodel Kate Moss recently caused a modicum of controversy by lighting up a tobacco cigarette on "No Smoking Day" at a fashion event, it is widely rumoured that Kate is indeed an electric cigarette convert.

Paris Hilton A little like DiCaprio in the sense that Paris has been snapped with an electronic cigarette in mid vape!

Other celebrities strongly rumoured to have turned to the electronic alternative smoking are, Britney Spears, Ryan Seacrest, Nikki Reed, Lady Victoria Hervey, Lindsey Lohan, Kevin Federline and Tom Petty.

You may have read lots about e cigarettes or you may be stumbling across them for the first time, but if the celebrity trend is anything to go by, we are set to see this electric smoking dramatically increase in popularity during the next few years.

There are plenty of resources and websites out there if you have become interested in what all these famous people seem to think is a great alternative to tobacco smoking.
