The internet is really changing the way that we live our lives nowadays. Admittedly, it made great things possible! It provides us with access with loads of information from the whole world. It also allows us to share our thoughts, views and other stories to the world in just a matter of seconds. Whether you are to share a photo, video or any other multimedia item, internet just made communication a million notch higher.

However, this is not to say that we should change the way that we live or lives altogether and forget all about the conventional way of doing things. One of the most affected sub-industry in communications is the print media. Nowadays, almost everything is being replaced by something virtual in the computer. Books, newspapers and even greeting cards are already converted into an electronic form. And for many, this electronic or virtual way of getting your message across could help us save lots of money and time. It even gets our message across way faster than the conventional black and white means.

However, there is still something about the print media that we can't let go. Most of us are still resistant of technology and that receiving something that is in print holds more meaning to us. It is all special and it carries more weight than it's electronic counterpart. Think about this, which would you rather receive, an electronic greeting card or a good old conventional greeting card sent to you via air mail?

Well, I don't know about you, but I know that millions of people all around the world (and I am included to those people) would be touched if they would receive a greeting card right into their doorsteps at the advent of the internet age. The same paradigm goes with wedding invitations. Sure, wedding invitations sent through email or other social networking sites is more convenient and cheaper. But then again, such invitation holds less value as compared to a traditional wedding invitation printed in specialty paper that you would deliver, either personally or via air mail, to the special people whom you want to be in your big day.

Spending some money or investing on a printed wedding invitation is not that bad. It could even be not that expensive as you think it is. Nowadays, it would not really matter if your wedding invitation looks extravagant and expensive. What would really matter is that it is neat looking and has all the information that your guests should now on or before your wedding day.
