Errors Detected In File When Running Scanpst

Microsoft provides Inbox Repair Tool as a tool that can repair corruption issues associated with Outlook Personal Folder (.pst) files

If the damage source is external, PST is greater than 2 GB in size (in Outlook 97-2002) or extent of corruption is high, the tool might not fix the PST.

Solution

Download and use Microsoft 2 GB Truncation utility. You should perform a complete backup of the affected PST before applying the tool. This is because the tool truncates the PST to fall under 2 GB in size, but simultaneously deletes some of the messages.

Run Scan pst on the truncated file
