This type of orchid is considered to be a heavy feeder, meaning that it needs a lot of food and of a certain kind as well. Doing this will keep your plants extraordinarily healthy and alive for a long time. The formula you use for the fertilizer should be equal to that of the method used for potting, so keep that in mind when you are feeding it.
