The biggest event lined up for next year is the Merimbula Jazz Festival. It will be held from the 10th - 13th of June. This event has a rich history and it is being held since the year 1981. The Festival involves about 700 musicians and 150 bands and they entertain the people with different styles of jazz. Next year the event will kick off in 8 different venues and each of the venues will have plenty of foods and drinks along with great music.
Apart from the Jazz festival, several other events will be held in Merimbula the next year. In fact there will be an event or another every month of the year. Some of the events are Cobargo Folk festival, Bombala Show, Candelo Village festival and the Bermagui Seaside Fair.
And if you are planning to go now, you can see the Australian Native Orchid Show that is held in Twyford Hall. This is the most spectacular orchid show in New South Wales. This November you can also be a part of the Bega Ute Muster and the Corona Merimbula Surf Classic events. And if you want to usher in the next year in Merimbula you must not miss the New Years Eve Fireworks.
