GMAT, or more simply, Graduate Management Admission Test is a global management test

The registration fee required to register for GMAT is 250 USD. In case, you decide to make any change in the schedule, date, time or even the test centre, you will have to pay an additional fee of 50 USD. When you decide not to appear for the exam at all, you will have to cancel your registration seven days prior to the exam and a refund of $80 will be given to you.

Indian students can choose to get registered for GMAT via four means- phone, online, mail and fax. For scheduling your test via the online medium, you need to check the official GMAT registration website and fill the required details on the online form. Payments for online registration can be only made via a debit or credit card from MasterCard, JCB, Visa, or American Express credit or debit card.

Students who choose to get registered via phone can call on 0120 4324628 (95120 from New Delhi) between 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Again, the payments are made via Visa or Master debit card or via JCB, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit card. The timings are according to Indian Standard Time.


You can also choose to schedule your appointment by fax. You can download the GMAT Application Scheduling Form from the main website and complete the same. You will require the test centre list for the same along with the country code list. You need a Visa or Master debit card for making the payment or can pay via Visa, JCB, MasterCard, or American Express credit card. The completed form is to be sent to +61 2 9901 3330.

Apart from knowing these facts, you must also keep in mind that you must have your passport ready for the test as only the passport is taken as an identity proof. Also, when you are sending all the documents by mail, the same should be received at least three weeks before the exam. For appearing for the exam, you must make sure that the confirmation letter is received at least three days before the test date.
