1. Walking to a new you.

I'm sure this is a surprise to many of you reading this right now, but the highest pick out of my weight loss group for their best exercises to lose weight was the same simple task we were all put on this Earth to do: Walk.

Walking provides so many successful advantages to someone looking to lose inches, and it's a fundamental practice in the weight-loss program I developed because of the millions of thin Asian women around the world who do nothing besides walk each day to keep the weight off.

To get the most fat-burning out of walking doesn't mean you have to walk several miles a day to get a good result. Just walk for a good 30 minutes a day, preferably 15 minutes in the morning and 15 at night after dinner. That's it!

Nothing could be more simple, start today.

2. Hit the pool for weight loss.

Swimming came in at #2 for my group's picks for their favorite exercises to lose weight, but I suspect it's because they actually like to swim more than killing themselves on a treadmill or around a track. And who can blame them when swimming is such a great weight loss activity, using nearly every muscle in the body to chew up fat and provide energy to keep pushing through the dense water.

You don't need to do too many laps to get a good pool workout in, 15 minutes a day is more than enough to get the body you want. So much effort is produced with each stroke that you reach maximum effectiveness much sooner than you do with other activities...and again it's more fun for most people than a boring session on an ellipse.

Would it surprise you to know that in most of Asia indoor and outdoor swimming is extremely popular and practiced by people of all ages? Think about that the next time you wonder why they're so thin...
