Explore Singapore From The Skies At The Sands Skypark
Despite its sprawling casino, world class restaurants run by celebrity chefs
, 4000 seat theatre, 1.3 million square foot exhibition enclave, it seems the best thing about the Marina Bay Sands is what lies atop of all of the above. Having opened its doors to the public in June 2010, the SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands is already the hottest venue in all of the islands innumerable attractions by no mere coincidence.
Conceived and built by Las Vegas Sands Corp, the Sands SkyPark is literally the icing on top of the integrated resort wonder that is the Marina Bay Sands. Designed according to the inspired vision of renowned architect Moshe Safdie who designed the Yad Vashem, the Sands SkyPark is a 60-floor high observation point that connects the three hotel towers of the Marina Bay Sands.
Offering guests a panoramic view of the Lion City, the SkyPark forms one of the globes biggest public cantilevers which boast an impressive area space of 12400 square meters. Stretching across the three hotel summits it is hard to believe that the SkyPark is lengthier than the Eiffel Tower laid down and expansive enough to park nearly five A380 Jumbo Jets. With the capacity to accommodate 3900 guests at a time the park also boasts a stunningly landscaped tropical garden in the skies complete with 650 plant varieties and 250 tree species. A shimmering swimming pool runs along the length of the SkyPark to culminate in an infinity edge that is suspended over the bustling metropolis. As the first pool of its kind to have been constructed at that insurmountable height, a dip in the glorious body of water literally feels like swimming among the clouds.
The gravity defying observation deck also encompasses exclusive restaurants featuring some of the worlds finest chefs. The Sky on 57 is perhaps its most famed eatery run by Singapores iconic chef Justin Quek although scintillating cocktails and gourmet meals are available from a variety of stylish restaurants at the SkyPark.
Audio touch points offering commentary on Singapores historic neighbourhoods and districts visible from the parks Observation Deck for added convenience while quirky trinkets and memorable mementos can be picked up at the SkyPark Shop. Guest should also not miss a change to indulge in the one of a kind Photo Xperience at SkyPark.
Renowned as one of the premier
