Have you ever thought what students do except study? Of course, they organize parties, meet each other, and go to cinemas and theaters. But there is one more necessary thing in student life. Extracurricular activities are activities in which all students should be engaged in for their own benefit.

What to Choose

It does not mean that all students must be engaged in one extracurricular activity. First of all, there are various kinds of activities. Secondly, nobody will choose the type of extracurricular activity instead of students. They are to choose it independently according to their skills and desires.

So, what kinds of activity a student may be engaged in?

As it has already been mentioned, there is a huge number of activities a college and a university offer to students.

Sport Activities

A student may choose sport as his/her main extracurricular activity. Sport is usually one of the most popular extracurricular activities among students. There are various sport clubs in every educational establishment. A student may choose a team kind of sport, a water kind of sport, and etc. The choice depends only on a students wish. Besides, one of the main tasks of sport organization is the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

Clubs

For those students who prefer to be engaged in other activities there are various clubs: theater clubs, dance clubs, etc. It does not mean that one can find the same clubs at different educational establishments. But, as usual, there is a variety of different clubs in each college and university. So, one can find such clubs as the writing club, the theater club, the science club, etc. These clubs, as a rule, envelop various spheres of human activity.

Social Organizations

There are various organizations which are responsible for different social issues. For example, one can find a voluntary organization among them.
