Netbooks generally have these features included: color display, wireless internet, full keyboard, memory, and CD or DVD drive. Make sure you know the features are very similar when comparing prices of different netbook models. This is the only way to make a valid comparison between models.

Also, keep in mind how you will use the netbook. Will you need access to corporate email like Microsoft Exchange? Then you should look for a Windows netbook. Is the strongest signal for wireless access a priority? Then look for the latest wireless protocol, or possibly 3G network capability.
