Faith, religion and music. That is the focus on the upcoming episode of Glee Season 2. If we have been thrilled with Britney Spears music last week, this week will be grilled with much drama and question on God's existence. The Glee Season 2 Episode 3 Grilled Cheesus which is set to air its premiere broadcast on October 5, 2010 will tackle the most controversial issue of all time, the issue on faith and religion.

Even the Glee creature Ryan Murphy expects that the "Grilled Cheesus" will be the series most controversial episode so far since this episode will question faith and God's existence. This episode was originally titled as "Faith" but it was change to give some humor to title.

On this episode, Finn will raise a question about God and faith as he believes to have seen the face of Jesus in a grilled cheese sandwich (thus the title Grilled Cheesus). On the other hand, Kurt also faces a crisis of his own, when his father Burt Hummer will have an accident which will put him in a life-and-death situation. To help Kurt in facing this difficult situation in his life Mercedes takes him to church.

Glee covers songs for this episode includes including R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion", Joan Osborne's "One of Us", Whitney Houston's "I Look to You", Billy Joel's "Only the Good Die Young", Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge over Troubled Water", The Beatles' "I Want to Hold Your Hand", and "Papa, Can You Hear Me?" as performed by Barbra Streisand in the musical film Yentl. It is also reported that they will feature a yet-unknown Aretha Franklin song.
