In reality more dense means the air bubbles in the foam are smaller making them more reactive to your body when you are sleeping. Like most products, it is heavily down to the quality of the product being worth the amount paid for it.
Optimum depth there is no optimum depth at which the memory foam can be. This is not the case, as it depends very much on the quality of the foam mattress itself. With a premium quality memory foam mattress, it depends on the technology and how closely together the foam layers are placed.
Too expensive Common perception of that prices of memory foam mattresses are too high and are not value for money. This is why good quality, respected brands should be bought and then an executive decision can be made regarding price and quality.
Claims aren't believable Some people think the claims made of the benefits of a memory foam mattress are untrue and not believable. This comes from the cheaper brands, with lower quality products flooding the market, resulting in a widespread belief that all memory foam mattresses claims are un-true.
They smell- Companies normally warn a customer their memory foam mattress may smell when it is brand new and just recently un-packed. This is just a minor side effect of the materials used in the making process and will disappear after a little time, if aired.
So when there are a lot of websites out there telling you to steer clear of memory foam mattresses, claiming a multitude of faults. Memory foam has been hailed the future' by some and has revolutionised the old fashioned spring bed industry.
