Safety in cars has become more and more of a priority over the last number of years. As a general rule, the newer the car is, the more likely it is to have a higher safety rating. When viewing a car, the figure you are looking at is the NCAP rating. NCAP is the european rating for saftey levels in road cars. Many people prioritise the safety factor when looking into purchasing a new car and this is perfectly understandable if you are to be transporting your children. Car manufacturers have wised up to this, and not only has the safety of cars dramatically increased, the safety information is also more widely available to being viewed.
