Miniature Golf on Madeira Beach Smugglers Cove is a cheap way for the whole family to hang out and enjoy Floridas year round gorgeous weather. Plus you can feed live alligators there! Open 9 am to 11 pm, the staff is always warm and friendly, and because of the courses elevation, you can see the sunset from above. Or afterwards you can walk across the street, and watch. You and the kids will be amazed at all the dolphins youll see!

Tampa Bay Rays The 2008 American League Champions, the Tampa Bay Rays, play all their home games at Tropicana Field, about 8 miles from the beach. Every Sunday the Rays host Family Fun Days, where each ticket provides a voucher for a hot dog, snack and Pepsi product. Tickets range from $20-$30. The best part is, after the games, kids can actually come onto the field and run the bases, or participate in a wiffle ball home run derby!

St. Pete Ghost Tours Tour historic St. Petersburg with one of these 90-minute candle-lit walking tours and learn about some of the haunted hot-spots said to be frequented by Al Capone and Babe Ruth. Led by costumed storytellers, these tall-tales of the area are offered year round from three different sites St. Petersburg, St. Pete Beach, and Madeira Beach. Great Explorations Childrens Museum The Great Explorations Childrens Museum offers an interactive playground for kids to learn about, and explore the world around them. Popular attractions include Fit4AllKidsVille, My First Market, The Veterinary Office, St. Pizza, and Animation Station. And rumor has it, theyre bringing back the ever-famous Touch Tunnel!
