Almost everyone is interested in a fat burning diet. We are surrounded by the word "obesity". Obesity is related to many diseases and degenerating conditions. Our health care systems are overburdened by treating obesity related diabetes, obesity related heart disease, obesity related cancers, obesity related joint pain and weakening, and more and more. If you no longer look and feel the way you did when you were eighteen - or twelve - or ever! - you want a fat burning diet which you can stick to, and a diet healthy enough that you can stay on it for good.
A diet that ensures you eat enough protein to keep muscle mass. Why? Because more muscle burns more calories, just in sustaining itself. That includes even while you are asleep. More muscle decreases insulin resistance. Insulin resistance happens when your cell receptors begin to IGNORE insulin, which then results in sugar in the blood not being burned as fuel, but stored as FAT instead. More muscle means more pressure on your bones when you exercise. This is a signal for bone density to increase.
A diet AND exercise routine that enables you to learn and execute the correct kind of muscle work that burns fat, and burns enough calories. Exercise can be become enjoyable, if you are not used to it. You start adding as much of a workout as you can, just pushing your comfort zone a bit. Then a little more, and a little more. The challenge of adding exercise is different for everyone. If you are starting at zero exercise, start walking every day. A thousand steps is about 30 calories burned. I know! It is easier not to eat them. But this is a start....it may only raise your heart level a bit, but you will do more as you go along.
After you start exercising, you will gradually realize that when you miss your exercise for one reason or another, it doesn't feel good. That which you initially had to force yourself to do regularly, becomes a factor in how good you feel. You will eventually feel at your best when your exercise is regular and your fat burning diet is followed. You can change your life's direction with good exercise and a good diet. Eating healthy, fresh, real food, and exercising every day, will help with healthy aging.
So how do you begin? Counting calories does not make a perfect weight loss plan. but, being aware of calories is helpful. Cutting out junk foods is a no-brainer. Empty calories means CALORIES, with no nutritional content whatsoever. Junk foods also commonly contain the 'bad' fats, trans, or hydrogenated fats and oils which wreck havoc in our bodies.
