Before starting any weight loss program there is always one thing people forget
. You need to get your head right for you to succeed.
A lot of people don"t realise that when they want to burn fat and become healthy and happy it is not a question of will power which makes them fail, but a lot of the time self defeating thoughts can interfere with efforts and make the person then sabotage them self.
Some self defeating thoughts: "I always fail when I am trying to burn fat", "This is too hard", "I don"t have enough will power", "I don"t have enough time to exercise", "I am too busy to concentrate on myself".
If any of these thoughts come into your mind, then you have to deal with them before making any effort to burn fat.
You have to start having positive thoughts and get rid of anything self defeating. You need to reassure yourself that "the past does not equal the future". Just because you may have failed before does not mean you are going to fail again.
Every thought in your head needs to be positive and empowering. "I am doing it", "I am not failing".
Another way to help stop self defeating is to attach pain to not burning fat and to attach pleasure to how you will feel when you are where you want to be physically.
It is human nature to avoid pain and to try and gain pleasure, so attaching lot"s of pain to your current physical situation and lot"s of pleasure to where you want to be will help rewire your brain into trying to attain the pleasure you are seeking.
Once you have your brain rewired you will find that making the effort to burn fat and lose weight becomes second nature and you will be well on the way to achieving your weight loss goals
