I cannot forget it. The first time that I ever walked into a gym and realized that I had let myself get well, a little bit fat. Looking around at everyone that was there and then looking down at my own stomach, I was a little self conscious to say the least. So, I kind of backed out of there as inconspicuous as I could. But that feeling still lingered inside.
I had to find something that would help me lose weight fast. And I did not just want to drop pounds on the scale, I wanted to be able to take off my shirt and not get embarrassed about it one bit. Where I stood at that moment in time, it felt like there was a lot of work I was going to have to do.
I got serious about it though and I gathered up all of the fat loss tips that I could find.
Here are 3 that should help give you the push and the urge like I did to lose fat as quickly as possible and still be healthy:
1. Write down an affirmative statement on a sheet of paper. Describe how you want to look, how you want to feel, and how much you want to end up weighing. If you want to lose 20 pounds write down your current weight minus those 20 pounds. This might sound like a lame tip, but there is a reason for this. You need to WANT IT bad enough to really get to that goal of serious fat loss.
2. Start eating as much fresh food as possible. In a perfect world, one where you would already have that perfect body, you would not be eating food that came frozen in a cardboard box. Fresh foods are vital to fat loss, and when you start adding them into your diet, you will not only start to lose weight, you will also FEEL good which is SO important to actually getting there.
3. Make lean protein an important part of your diet. You need protein. Your body needs protein. You don't need to get your protein from fatty meats that taste good, but end up making your body look bad. Lean protein sources such as chicken breast and tuna fish can help you to get to your goal of losing fat fast without feeling like you are starving or anything like that.
