Fastener

These help adjust the height and weight limit on your carrier so that your baby is snug against you and it takes the weight off your shoulders and back. Ensure that any buckles and fasteners on your carrier are easy to adjust, but that do not slip out of place. Extra Pockets and Loops

Some baby carriers will have loops that hold your baby's pacifier or even special pockets to store things such as pacifiers, teething rings and other essentials. This can be helpful for the parent that needs quick access to these items no matter where they are.
