Feng shui is all about increasing the amount of positive energy in a room and balancing

things out with the way you decorate it and where you choose to put certain pieces of furniture or other items. The environment that you work in should be both comfortable and calming, so you should make sure to find out what would be the best possible way to go about arranging all of the different things in space where you work. You might be surprised just how much of a positive effect this can have, and not just in a spiritual way either. Studies have shown in the past that when someone organizes their office in the right way, it can actually increase productivity and effectiveness. Believe it or not, the direction which you sit can make a significant difference in the way you think and how well you get things done at work. Sitting toward the east is actually better than any other direction, and there are scientific studies to back up this assertion. If you feel like sometimes you get a little too tired or burnt out in the middle of the day when you are trying to be creative or finish up some important project, then you might just want to change up the way you are facing in your office.

If you look at your desk and you see a monumental mess, then you will want to clean it up and start organizing things right away. When you have a clean and organized desk and office, you will find it much easier to think and do work. You might want to think about playing soft gentle music while you are working. Music has also been shown to increase productivity and overall awareness in the workplace. our brains respond well to the right kind of music, and it really gets us going. More and more companies are starting to realize the value of letting their employees listen to music on headphones or playing it over the loudspeaker at a low volume. Although you may not even notice the effect it is having on you at first, you will start to eventually when you become more active around the office.
