things out with the way you decorate it and where you choose to put certain pieces of furniture or other items. The environment that you work in should be both comfortable and calming, so you should make sure to find out what would be the best possible way to go about arranging all of the different things in space where you work. You might be surprised just how much of a positive effect this can have, and not just in a spiritual way either. To get started you will want to learn about some of the most basic feng shui tips for the office space.

Believe it or not, the direction which you sit can make a significant difference in the way you think and how well you get things done at work. Sitting toward the east is actually better than any other direction, and there are scientific studies to back up this assertion. If you feel like sometimes you get a little too tired or burnt out in the middle of the day when you are trying to be creative or finish up some important project, then you might just want to change up the way you are facing in your office.

If you look at your desk and you see a monumental mess, then you will want to clean it up and start organizing things right away. Chances are you probably have a lot of things already on your desk that you can either throw away or put somewhere else in the office. When you have a clean and organized desk and office, you will find it much easier to think and do work. If you have nowhere to put the files that are scattered out on your desk, then you might want to create an individual folder for these papers, titled something to the effect of "Active Accounts". so you will know just what it is.

You might want to think about playing soft gentle music while you are working. Music has also been shown to increase productivity and overall awareness in the workplace. our brains respond well to the right kind of music, and it really gets us going. More and more companies are starting to realize the value of letting their employees listen to music on headphones or playing it over the loudspeaker at a low volume. Although you may not even notice the effect it is having on you at first, you will start to eventually when you become more active around the office.
