Sinter Metal Filters: Sinter metal filters are used for their high strength, corrosion resistance and high temperature capability in a variety of industries. The immediate advantages of sinter metal filters over other (polymeric and ceramic) filter materials are their ability to withstand higher pressures and temperatures, and their ductility and toughness to withstand process shocks and upset conditions. Sinter metal filters are routinely used, and are finding additional applications in refineries, petrochemical, chemical, power, pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries.

Compact band filter, paper is held between a pair of sealing discs & a permeable support belt. Dirty fluid is dropped in the trough formed with filter paper at the bottom. The fluid passes through the filter paper leaving the dirt on it. The layer of dirt gathered on the filter paper achieves finer filtration. The Compact band filter is mounted directly on top of the tank, letting clean fluid in the tank.
Beer filteration: Although conditioning-maturation, clarification, and stabilization-plays an important role in reducing yeast and haze loading materials, a final beer filtration is needed in order to achieve colloidal and microbiological stability. The beer must be rendered stable so that visible changes do not occur during its shelf life.
Liquid Filtration: Liquid filtration is the removal of solids from liquids by flowing the contaminated liquid through a filter medium that will retain the solid particulates and allow only clean liquid to pass through. Liquid filtration is designed to remove impurities that occur in liquids, both from natural and unnatural sources.
Steam Filtration: Steam filtration is used for equipment sterilization and direct or indirect thermal processing of foods. Whenever steam is used to sterilize equipment or filters, the particles of rust from the boiler and transfer lines will foul the equipment surfaces, and block steam valves, filling orifices and filter pores. The net result is an overall loss in the efficiency of processing and an added cost of extra cleaning and passivation.
Hot gas filtration: In hot gas filtration process, the hot gas stream is often heavily laden with solids which must be removed or recovered. For this gas cleaning applications at higher temperatures between 250 and 1000 C hot gas filtration units with special-designed hot gas filtration elements are installed. Hot gas filtration elements are mostly available as porous candles made of rigid ceramic, fiber ceramic, sintered metal or porous plastics for the lower temperature applications.
