It's really no good trying to get him back when you don't know the reason or reasons by he broke up with you. What are you going to say to him if you want to try and get him back? If you need to apologize, what are you gong to apologize for?

So, until you have managed to find out why he broke up with you, don't even attempt to try and get back together again, because you'll only have the same problems to deal with. You are probably wondering how you are gong to find out anything at this point in time, because your ex doesn't want to talk to you right now.

This is easy. You and your ex have mutual friends right? So, get together with a few of those friends. Two things will happen here. You will have some fun while you're getting over all the hurt and anger of the break up, and you will also hear things about your ex.

Now I'm not saying that you will hear what you want to hear, but it will give you a clear picture as to what to do next. It all rests on whether what you hear is positive or negative, whether it will be worth your while to try and get him back again.

Don't rush up to your friends and ask all sorts of questions about your ex. Have some fun first - whether you are out dancing, or playing mini-golf, then sort of just in passing, ask whether they have seen your ex or not. Then just listen and analyze what they are telling you.

Are they saying that your ex misses you like crazy, or are they saying that your ex is really so glad to be alone again? Are they telling you that your ex is sitting around moping and trying to figure out a way to get you back again, or are the telling you that your ex is out almost every night, looking for new talent?

The rest is up to you. If what you're hearing is positive - things that you want to hear, then go all out and try to get back together with your ex again. However, if what you're hearing tells you that he really isn't interested in being in a relationship with you, then accept this fact and carry on with your own life. At least this way, you know exactly where you stand, without making a fool of yourself.
