Finding Life Balance In The Word B-a-l-a-n-c-e
Sometimes achieving balance in life means looking at life from a different perspective
, being creative, and being open to new ways of seeing what needs to change or come into your life. So, let's look at the word balance and see what each of the letters can tell us about achieving balance.
B - Breathe - breathe slowly and deeply to maintain a balanced mind and body. When you are breathing slowly and deeply, you do not make rash decisions. Your entire body is moving at a slower pace so accidents do not happen and your body functions at a healthy pace.
A - Articulate - articulate what you need in your life to be a balanced human. To be healthy, happy, and balanced, you must know your needs and not be afraid to articulate them. If no one knows your needs, either personally or professionally, they will never be met.
L - Laugh - do not take yourself so seriously. Learning to laugh at you is a great gift that lowers stress, elevates your feel good endorphins, and makes life more enjoyable. A mistake is just a miss take -a do-over. Seeing humor in life definitely helps you balance your life.
A - Awaken - awakening to your life purpose is the core of achieving balance in your life. You came to the planet for a special purpose. Your life journey is discovering this purpose and then following it with all your heart.
N- Nourish - nourish yourself mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Know your needs in each of these areas and make certain that your needs are met. Write positive "I Am" statements, enjoy guilt free personal time, make a gratitude list, and move your body.
C - Celebrate - celebrate life! Abundance is all around you. Be thankful for food, a roof over your head, a friend, your creativity, your health, life itself
and the ability to enjoy another day, a flower, the sun, and the rain. Celebrate every little accomplishment every day! Life is enjoying the little
things.
E - Engage - engage 100% in everything you do. The key is not to do everything that comes your way. Pick and chose what resonates with you and your reason for being on the planet, say no to the rest or delegate, and then engage 100% in your chosen activities.
Incorporate these into your life one step at a time. It is the small changes that you make that become new patterns leading to a life that is more in balance. Small changes do not overwhelm you creating even more chaos. Small changes are doable and lead to big results. Celebrate every effort and every success!!
