Candy gifts of various sorts are popular, from candy baskets to tins and of course boxes of chocolate. These are usually pretty well received, but in this day it is important to consider who will be receiving this gift.
If it is a group gift and you don't know the people very well it might be a good idea to mix things like sugar-free candy, nuts and even fruit in the mix for those who have dietary restrictions or those watching their weight or sugar intake. Be sure to add chocolate to the mix as many people love chocolate and may even expect it to some degree in this type of offering.

In most cases it is best to avoid specific religious themes as you may not know the religious beliefs of the person or people receiving the gift.
Make sure it fits the person or company who will be receiving it, for example if you are sending it to a client that specializes in weight loss or health you want to make sure it isn't filled with junk food; instead choose one that has a fun variety of fruit and healthier snacks or non-food items.
Choose something that looks nice but in many cases you don't want to choose something that looks too expensive. Cheap baskets, or ones that look cheap, can be somewhat insulting to some. The recipient may think you don't value your relationship. On the other hand expensive gift baskets may make them feel obligated in some way.
