Fireplace Ideas For 2012

New year has just begun and there are a lot of expectations

, new ideas, new beginnings and fresh executions throughout the world. I like this feeling and it is exciting to absorb everything that is happening around me. One thing that I have fallen fond of is the idea of having a fireplace in the bathroom. And especially because the bathroom we have in our house is located on the cellar level, below our living room. It is quite spacious, too, and might just fit a fireplace. At the moment we have there three armchairs made of rattan (a type of cane), a small round rattan-glass coffee table in the middle and a dresser where we usually store the towels.

So, last week I called a fireplace making company called Uunisept, which was recommended to me by a friend of mine, and already in two days their expert came to our house, took measures and showed me the green light so I was able to really go forward with the project. The next step was to visit the store and choose the fireplace model I liked the most, of course bearing in mind the measurements and the size of the space. I already had a sneak peak at their models at Uunisept so I now have some ideas of what I would like to see in the room.

Yesterday, when I was discussing the project with my husband, we came to the conclusion that since we started working on the cellar space we might as well do there some other renovations, too. So, besides installing the fireplace, we are also going to change the tiles, which has to be done before the fireplace we bought at Unisept. But I have to say that if you start to work on a specific space, it is advisable to do everything you want to the space at once. For example, in our case if we had first installed the fireplace and a year or two years later decided to change the tiles, it would have been much more difficult and would have cost us more. So, whenever you start to work on a space make sure you learn about all your renovation options for that specific space and go for it!
