Scottsdale Fashion Square. Just a short drive from many Phoenix hotels, this vast shopping center is a mecca of all things stylish. Visitors to the mall will find a Barneys New York, Nordstrom, Tory Burch, Hugo Boss and Kate Spade, as well as more budget-friendly boutiques, two movie theaters, upscale and casual dining and even a full-service concierge desk.

Camelback Mountain. Featuring sheer red sandstone cliffs and an elevation of 2,700 feet, this stunning mountain watches over the Valley like a sentry. Its a difficult climb, even for experienced hikers, but does offer several trails that dont lead to the summit that are appropriate for hikers of all levels.

Heard Museum. Opened in 1929 by Dwight B. and Maie Bartlett Heard, the Heard Museum is famous for its extensive collections of Native American cultural art and fine art, special exhibits and events. Its located in the citys downtown area and just a short drive from many Phoenix hotels and suburban accommodations.

Desert Botanical Garden. Set on 50 stunning desert acres, the DBG is home to 139 rare, threatened and endangered plant species from around the world and a stunning location that belies its urban surroundings. Its also one of only 44 botanical gardens accredited by the American Association of Museums and a favorite among locals and tourists alike.
