Flush out all the water in the tank and add a pinch of hydrogen peroxide solution in the tank and fill water. Then heat the water and leave it for an hour. Then flush out the water, the smelling will disappear. If the problem persists then change the electrodes in the tank.

Under floor water heating

If youre under floor water heating system is not functioning properly then the major fault will be in the circulation mechanism. Check the openings and the joints of the supply. They either get blocked or bent has been tightly fixed. In case of the electrical equipment the major faults occur with the fuse and wiring.
