. Among the many fiestas that Spain celebrates there are a few that is a must see for every traveler as these depicts not only the culture but the heart of Spain.
The first of the many fiestas which Spain is known for starts every 7th day of July which commemorates the start of San Fermin Festival in Pamplona. The popular English name of this festivity which is known by travelers all over the world is "Running of the Bulls". This showcases Spanish men wearing white shirts with red sash trying to out run bulls that are behind them. There are other places in Spain which also celebrate this festival but to a smaller degree like Tudela, Estella, Tafalla and Sanguesa.
Traveling to Spain to see authentic Flamenco dancing is a must as they celebrate Feria de Abril, held in Seville every April. The festival is a week long event, which is a haven for every Flamenco enthusiast includes not just merriment but also overflowing with Tapas and sherry wine tasting all throughout the evening.
A festival that dates back since 16th Century is an event that happens a week before Feria de Abril, the Semana Santa. The Passion of the Christ is being re-enacted by people as a means of the church to make it easy to understand. Presently, the procession now showcases different churches showing the events that lead to Christ's death and travelers are cheering them on.
Springtime celebration in Valencia, Spain is popular to travelers as they are given the chance to experience seeing cardboards being built in ten days and at the end of the event which is every 19th of March, they are burned to the ground. Travelers are then treated to a showcase of fireworks, bullfights and the ever popular Flamenco that is Las Fallas de San Jose like no other.
Three Cow Tribute Ceremony or in Spanish Ceremonia del Tributo de las tres Vacas is more of a ceremony than a festival that's been part of Spain's culture since 1357. The event takes place in Roncal Valley area, in which the public figures of the locale dress up like those in the medieval era. They give honor to the people of Piedra de Martin by giving three cows.
This late night festivity which is held in Seville Spain is Day of Imaculada in which the statue of the Virgin of Imaculada brings together different fraternities during the night to sing traditional Spanish songs. They are called tunas which can be known as a medieval gown. The next day, Danza delos Seises happens, this time children are the one's dressed in medieval garments. This takes place in the cathedral every 7th of December which is comprised purely of dance festival.
