, Flamenco is a passionate and seductive form of art. At first it was mysterious and misunderstood this could be due to the fact that it originated from the Andalusia region. Palmas is a form of clapping that accompanies the music and dancing and Cajon is a unique drum which is played by slapping the front face usually with your hands. It is of Afro-Peruvian origins and was introduced to Flamenco in the later part of the twentieth century by Cairo Soto.
